Located in the heart of Kamm's Corners in the West Park neighborhood, Franciscan Village provides housing to independent seniors who desire a safe, comfortable living space.
A Village of Friends and Neighbors
Our safe, clean and spacious, one-bedroom apartments include a living room, bedroom, galley kitchen with appliances, including garbage disposal, and bathroom. Ample closet space is also provided. We are located in the heart of Kamm’s Corners in the West Park neighborhood, and within walking distance of shopping, dining, and banking, Franciscan Village offers HUD-subsidized housing for independent seniors 62 and over.
Facilities Overview
Bordering Fairview Park to the west and Lakewood to the north, our 176 unit front entrance 1complex consists of two five-story buildings and a Franciscan Monastery that was converted to apartments in the 1970s. The historic architecture and features of the Monastery as well as the serene, wooded area at the rear of the complex make Franciscan Village a truly unique and peaceful place to live.
Franciscan Village provides housing to independent seniors who desire a safe, comfortable living space requiring minimal upkeep while, at the same time, seek the enjoyment and support of having other seniors nearby. We have a Service Coordinator (LSW) on staff who can assist residents in obtaining personal services when recovering from illness or surgery in addition to other services that are available.
We also offer 24-hour access to our custodial staff for emergencies.
Also please note, Franciscan Village is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is prohibited in the building and all of our apartments.
